IS OLIVIA WILDE BISEXUAL? ACTRESS OPENS TWITTER DEBATE OVER PREVIOUS “COME OUT THE CLOSEST” COMMENTS

Wilde has resurfaced where the actress compares her switch from actress to director feel like she was coming out of the closet. Now, Twitter has been divided over whether her comments were insensitive and what her sexuality is.

Uh oh, looks like Olivia Wilde is the latest celebrity to be targeted by Twitter. Some may even say she’s getting canceled.

An extract from her 2018 episode of Off Camera with Sam Jones podcast has resurfaced where she talks about her experience of transitioning from actress to behind the lens as similar to the feeling of coming out of the closet.

Some of the internets are less than pleased as they have labelled her as insensitive and even homophobic. They claim that it is completely unacceptable to compare the two together since coming out is such a difficult and stressful process.

On top of that, haters have dug up her old monologue from Glamour Presents' “These Girls” event in 2012, where she talked about her outlook on relationships after her divorce from Tao Ruspoli in 2011.

She considered “a soft kind of lesbian relationship, just gentle kissing and scissoring”.

Because of this statement and that she has hinted to fans that she is bisexual on previous occasions, some fans are defending her ‘coming out’ comment because she would have the

first-hand experience of sharing her sexuality.

So, is Olivia Wilde actually bisexual?
