Chelsea clause means they face hefty cost if they win Champions League

Chelsea are looking to win the Champions League this month for the first time since 2012 when they take on Manchester City in the final, while an FA Cup is also in their sights

Chelsea could end up forking out a hefty amount if they end up winning the Champions League this summer.

The Blues knocked Real Madrid out in the semi-finals after beating them 3-1 on aggregate, including a convincing 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Timo Werner and Mason Mount scored in west London on Wednesday to set up a final against Premier League rivals Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola, who last won the tournament with Barcelona in 2011, is gunning to land the title for City's first time.

But they must beat a tough Chelsea, who have become a nuisance to play against since Thomas Tuchel took over in January.
