I'm going to show you how to promote your facebook page in just five easy steps hey my name is lester diaz and in this channel we talk about making money online affiliate marketing social media promote my facebook page so i'm gonna break down just five steps that you can start doing today to get more followers more sales or more views so let's start with number one and that is decide your goal so before you even think about promoting your facebook page you have to know why you want to promote your facebook page do you want to get more followers on your page just for the sake of growing your brand you want to get more views because you're a content creator and you want to get more views on your videos or are you a small business looking to get more sales and more customers for your business whichever that is you got to have the right mindset for that specific strategy because if you're a small business and you want to get more sales for your business perhaps getting more followers it's not going to necessarily bring you more sales so make sure you have a clear goal on what you want from your facebook page once you have a clear goal in mind then you can move on to start promoting your facebook page and we're gonna start with number two which is one of the fastest way to grow on facebook right now to promote pretty much anything on facebook and that is facebook groups so if you have a facebook page like a personal brand a niche page or you have a small business you can definitely utilize groups to promote your facebook page but depending on what your goal is and what type of facebook page you have you got to pick your groups carefully so let me give you a quick example on how you can utilize groups to promote your facebook page so i'm going to be using my facebook page as an example but you can apply this method to basically any type of facebook page you might have so let's say for example you have a gaming page the first thing you would do is you would go on facebook and you would find groups in that specific so let's say you have a minecraft page then i would simply go and type minecraft on top and i would select groups and i would get basically all the groups uh from that specific search that i'm doing on facebook and you can get hundreds and hundreds of groups for that now one thing that you have to keep in mind is that some private groups don't allow you to join as a page and that's because they have changed the settings where you can only join with your personal profile now one way that you can get around that is by simply clicking on public groups and basically once you do that so now has found some public groups that i can join and by clicking on the little join group right here it opens a little pop-up and then i can select the page that i want to use to join that group once you join that group you can engage inside of that group as your page now this doesn't mean that you can't join private groups as your page it simply means that some groups allow you to join us your page and some don't so you do have to try multiple groups to see which ones allow you to join as your page and which ones force you to join with your personal profile for niche pages and personal brands i would say that you can definitely create a group to help you promote your page and you can also join other groups in your niche to promote your page and one of the main things that you can do is join those groups as your page and then you want to basically engage in those groups as your page replying to comments liking posts sharing posts things like that that will engage your page with people and i'm not talking about spamming groups i'm talking about actual engagement with people inside of those groups so the more engaged you are and the more value you provide inside of those groups the higher the chance of people actually checking out your page and by the way this is a hundred percent free to do you can definitely spend maybe 20 30 minutes per day on specific facebook groups to engage with other people ask your page and that will naturally bring people to your facebook page number three similar pages now this mostly applies to niche specific facebook pages but if you have a personal brand you can definitely do this as well but what you want to do is basically like other pages in your niche so let's say you have a gaming page you're gonna find similar pages in your niche that play uh pretty much the same games you're playing on your gaming page and you're going to like their content you're going to leave comments and you don't want to do this with your personal profile you want to do this as your page you want to engage with other similar pages in your niche and little by little you're going to be building a relationship with those page owners in a way that it might result into a collaboration or perhaps simply by leaving comments your comment as your page i might have you know thousands of likes and thousands of people might see the comment and actually check out your content so i'll give you a quick example on how to do that so now we're going to do is we're going to find pages in our niche that we can like and actually engage as our page because like i said the whole thing the whole concept of doing this is to utilize groups and pages to bring people back to our own facebook page so we can get more engagement more views more followers so in this case all i have to do is go and click on pages and facebook will look for pages in my niche based on what i'm searching for so i'm simply going to click on this minecraft page right here i'm going to open that in a new tab once i'm in the page i'm not gonna like the page because if i do so it's gonna like the page as my personal profile so what i'm gonna do is click on this little three dots right here and it's gonna give you an option to like as your page when you click on that option then you can select whatever page you want to use to like this page once you do that you can get a personalized news feed of the pages you have like as your page so let me show you how to get there okay so we're back to my personal page and if you want to see the news feed for the pages you have like as your page so you can leave some comments you know leave some engagement in those pages then you're going to type this at the end of your pages web address news underscore feed hit enter and now you can see that it says introducing a separate news feed for lastradius and i'm gonna click next i'm gonna click next and basically this is telling me that i can interact engage with other pages as my page now what i'm getting are updates from pages that i have liked in the past from similar pages basically you can get a personalized news feed based on the pages you have like using your own facebook page so when i go down here and i actually click on comment you can see that i'm going to leave a comment as my page not as my personal profile and if you do this with 10 20 different pages in your niche you go and like them as your page and then go back to your news feed and interact and see the updates every single day you engage with those pages you can definitely get people to check out your own facebook page so one thing that i do is basically to bookmark this address and i just keep that address bookmark and i go to that address every single day because facebook tends to change things around and sometimes you can't find the news feed by simply going to your facebook page so it's best to just bookmark this web address of your page's news feed and you can go every single day find five ten fifteen posts that you can engage with as your page so you can promote your page and as you can see this is all about engagement the more engagement you provide on facebook groups and facebook pages the more likely you are to get people to check out your content and your facebook page number four is optimize your content for seo now most people don't think about facebook as a search engine because most people are simply browsing on facebook for content and they stumble upon videos and posts but there's actually a lot of people searching for content on facebook so if you're not optimizing your posts your videos for search for seo meaning that you want to include keywords um hashtags and titles that someone might be searching for on facebook so let me show you what i mean so we're going to continue to use our minecraft example and in this case in order to find which polls are ranking higher on the facebook search results for specific keywords we're going to go and click on post because this is where facebook is gonna tell us uh which post facebook is pushing when it comes to that specific keyword so in this case uh the minecraft verify page is basically dominating the search results for anything related to minecraft because of couarse they own the aminecraft so what can you do to increase the chances of getting on the facebook search results for specific keywords so we're going to scroll down here we're going to see what other pages are being ranked on the facebook search results and you can see we have this post right here has minecraft on the post we're going to scroll down we have another one using the minecraft hashtag and you can see more posts from other people so we're going to go all the way up this this one right here this is a video and minecraft is also in the title of the video this gives you an idea on what you should be doing in order to rank on the facebook search results and because it had some pretty good engagement and at the same time it was optimized properly for the keyword minecraft we're seeing this right now on the facebook search results one of the things that you should be doing if you want to rank higher on the facebook search results is to include the keyword you're targeting multiple time if it's a video you can include the keyword in the title of the video you can also include that keyword in the context of your post and if it's a picture you can do the same exact thing you can also use hashtags like this person is doing right here by including hashtags this actually has the keyword again to your post and you have more chances of your post being ranked on the facebook search results so by just taking the time to optimize your post properly you can definitely get more reach more engagement more views on your post by simply taking the time to create seo friendly titles and posts that are more likely to show up on the facebook search results and number five last but not least is facebook ads one of the biggest mistakes that i've seen people do who are trying to grow a facebook page or promote our facebook page is that they'll start searching on google for websites where they can buy followers or they can buy likes and things like that and that is a huge mistake why would you go outside of facebook to a buy reach or buy followers or get more views in your videos it just really doesn't make any sense because most likely you're not gonna get real engagement and real followers from those websites so it just makes more sense to use facebook ads as a way for you to promote your facebook page facebook ads is the only tool that i use to grow my facebook pages in fact some time ago i posted a video where i show how i grew a brand new facebook page from zero to over 16 000 followers in just a matter of a few days and those were real followers real people engaging with my content and that's the type of followers you want for your page you want real people interested in the content of your page so if you have a small business and you're looking to promote your facebook page for example you can use facebook ads to create an ad that only people in a specific location will see bringing you targeted followers for your facebook page or if you're a content creator if you want to get more views on your videos you can target people specifically using facebook ads based on what they watch so facebook ads provides the tools and resources to promote your facebook page of course this is paid advertising but you definitely don't need to spend a lot of money to promote your facebook page with as little as just five dollars per day you can set up an ad on facebook and you can definitely test multiple ads to see which ones are working best for you depending on your goal that's why i mentioned that picking your goal is the number one thing you shouldbe doing because if you want to get more views you can set up ads for views if you want to get more followers you can set up ads for followers or if you want to get more reach or sales for your small business there's options inside of
