West Ham United v Everton
Premier League, London Stadium, Sunday 10 May 2021
Good afternoon and welcome to a warm and sunny London Stadium for today's Premier League fixture between West Ham United and Everton.
The Hammers host the Blues in a match that is arguably our biggest in five years when it comes to us challenging for European qualification.
Back in May 2015, unfortunately we lost two of our final three matches to drop below Southampton on the final afternoon and finish seventh in the table, missing out on a UEFA Europa League.
We kick-off fifth in the table with 58 points from 34 games played, five points behind fourth-place Leicester City with a game in hand, one more than Liverpool, who have also played 34, two ahead of Tottenham Hotspur, who have played 35, and six more than Everton, who have played 33.
So, a win will take us to within two points of Leicester, who face Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in their final three fixtures, and three of third-place Chelsea.
Everton, of course, will also believe they can still qualify for Europe, seeing as they can close to within two points of the top six with a win of their own.
We kick-off at 4.30pm here. Don't forget, tonight's game is being broadcast live in the UK by Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, and across the world, while audio commentary will be available via talkSPORT.
